• “I have donated to many of the food drives you have had and truly believe in the cause, especially the work of your organization.”
• A note was found inside a bag of food that was donated.  It said, “God bless all of those who feed the needy.”
  Answer: To whoever wrote this note, then we’re very sure that God has and will bless you.
• “We really want to beat Jefferson Park.  Go Forest Park!”
• “I’m very impressed with what you’ve done with Banta Feeds and now these other things you’re doing.  Keep working hard.”
• “When are you coming to the _______ neighborhood?  You skipped over it.  Why did you skip over our neighborhood?”
• “This thing you started is growing so fast … “
• “Your ministry inspired me to act & I donated a whole bag of groceries to a woman with five children–all of them were hungry ……”
• “Thank you for all your hard work and good luck in your efforts.”
• “You are doing great work.  Keep it up!”
• “Thank you for doing this, and keep up the good work!”
• A need for donations of diapers has been expressed.
• Told to a delivering volunteer: “I couldn’t believe it when those firefighters showed up with all that food.  Who is this person doing this?  I have to meet her—this is great!”
  Answer:  I’m glad you enjoyed the firefighters—they’re pretty darn awesome, aren’t they?  –Christine
• “You are doing great things in our city.  Thank you.  It’s nice to know that someone cares, and to see something positive in the news instead of all the junk we always see.”
• “I completely support your cause.”
• “I think what you are doing is amazing and I want you to grow.”
• “I read the article in the paper about your efforts and was moved to help.  I went to WalMart and stocked up on canned goods.  Then I picked up some non-perishable items so I’ve made arrangements to deliver directly to the Hilltop Pantry.  Thank you for inspiring me to act!  Keep up the good work.”
• “It was my pleasure to post an article about Banta Feeds to www.ValpoLife.com!  It’s organizations like yours that make this community great!  Thank you for the work that you do, for the organization you have created, and the impact you’ve made on all of us.”

• “Food pantries also take donations of toilet paper and hygiene products.  You should do a drive to collect those.  Medicaid doesn’t cover all of that.”

• “Families in need can also apply for food stamps, ask local churches for help, contact the Center Township Trustee and local Red Cross for food and grocery vouchers to buy food.  That’s what I had to do to feed my kids.”
• “Can you include ____ Pantry in your next food drive?  Our pantry needs help too.”
